Why are our thoughts and motivations hidden? Who can hear them? And who can judge them for what they are, either good or bad?
And how did this thought mechanism come into existence? And for what reason? Who or what invented it?

What is Truth?
Truth never forces you what to believe
To find truth we need to dig deeper
To find truth we need to open our heart for it
There’s no such thing as relative truth
Truth is always true, whatever perspective you have on it
Love does not keep the truth hidden from others
Do you strive for happiness, or do you want to live a truthful life?
If you don’t like truth, you are betraying yourself the most
‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life,’ Jesus proclaimed

Isabeau and Family singing…
Welcome to this blog in which I want to give you a good and solid impression + evidence of Christianity, the faith that originated from Jesus Christ, who is in fact Almighty God in the flesh, humbly living a life of 33 years on this earth as a human being, and sacrificing Himself on an excruciating Roman cross to take away the sins of the world — that is, the sins of everyone who will embrace His message, taking it for the good news (i.e., gospel) that it claims to be. (see John 3:16, and 3:36)
By the way, Christianity to me has more to do with what Jesus taught than it has to do with going to church, although the Bible does tell us that as followers of Jesus it is good to get together (see also here), and I strongly believe that certain churches are closer to what Jesus taught while other churches are actually rather far removed from what Jesus taught.
This Jesus of Nazareth, without money and arms, conquered more millions than Alexander, Caesar, Mohammed, and Napoleon; without science and learning, He shed more light on things human and divine than all philosophers and scholars combined; without the eloquence of schools, He spoke such words of life as were never spoken before or since and produced effects which lie beyond the reach of orator or poet; without writing a single line, He set more pens in motion, and furnished themes for more sermons, orations, discussions, learned volumes, works of art, and songs of praise, than the whole army of great men of ancient and modern times.
— Philip Schaff, The Person of Christ (New York: American Tract Society, 1913), 33.
Below you will find various topics related to Christianity. I hope you will enjoy some of them, and are willing to investigate some of the others—as God tells us He can only be found when we are looking for Him with all our heart. (see also here and here)

Well, God himself thinks it is strange as well, foolish even.
If you saw a pastor enter a brothel and assume he came to ‘get laid’, aren’t you actually judging yourself?
Since any decent Christian would think he came to help the women get out of that lifestyle.
The young man in this video thought so, too. Would you be willing to learn from him?

The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
— Matthew 13:44 => see also the story about the valuable pearl in the next two verses.
God gave us all a free will as He wouldn’t want to be honored and worshiped through any form of coercion, just like we ourselves wouldn’t like to be loved by any person that was pressured into it.
So, if you feel coerced by members of your family, community, or country in the sense that there will be repercussions when you do not follow their instructions as related to faith matters or matters of conscience, then you may well conclude that these people are not speaking on behalf of God.
Remember, Jesus died on a cross for us to draw us toward God and heaven and all. He never came at us with a sword of any kind, but only with love and kindness.
Now, of course, God doesn’t want anyone to end up in Hell for eternity just because that person didn’t pay enough attention. Therefore, God might turn our life a little bit upside down just to get our attention for the big things in life, to make us see how small-minded our view on life is, and to open our heart to other people’s miseries, as well as to other things of God that make us live a dignified life. Note, however, that no man can claim that he is God’s representative on earth to turn your life upside down. Only God will do these things. No man or group of men can take the place of God, or be God’s rulers on earth.

C.S. Lewis trilemma Lunatic, Liar, or Lord: «I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: “I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept His claim to be God.” That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic—on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg—or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronising nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.»

And what about the complexities of the universe.
Expressed in music here.
You might wanna think twice before you turn the Creator of the universe your back.

The devil’s got an easy job simply by spreading doubt in peoples’ minds. It’s much harder to build trust than it is to make people doubt and distrust. Jesus said, “Thomas, because you have seen me, therefore you believe. Happy are those who have not seen and yet believe!” — John 20:29 (NMB)
“All religions are fundamentally different, and at best they are superficially similar.” — Ravi Zacharias in the above video.

I would like to warn you for pridefulness
Pride is a mask that prevents you from living a real and fulfilling life. It clouds your thinking. It’s your enemy, and will ultimately drag you down.
“There are two kinds of pride, both good and bad. ‘Good pride’ represents our dignity and self-respect. ‘Bad pride’ is the deadly sin of superiority that reeks of conceit and arrogance.” – John C. Maxwell
“A proud man is always looking down on things and people; and, of course, as long as you are looking down, you cannot see something that is above you.” – C.S. Lewis,
the writer, and former atheist, who talks from experience when addressing the slyness of a proud heart
“When a proud man hears another praised, he feels himself injured.” — English proverb
“Pride must die in you, or nothing of heaven can live in you.” — Andrew Murray
Please, don’t gamble with your soul. It will have eternal ramifications.
If your desire to be something in this world is bigger than the desire to live according to truth, you’re probably thinking that the lie won’t come out, thereby implying that no justice will ever be done, and therefore that hell is non-existent, or not as bad as Jesus said it would be. And so, in fact what you’re saying is that all mass murderers we’ve known throughout the ages will not get what they deserve. In that case, the words truth, right, and wrong all become obsolete.
If I may ask you a question, “Is your desire to be something in this world worth to go to hell for? Or worth to miss heaven for? Permanently?” Will you at least think about this? It grieves my heart to think that you would end up in hell. But, at the same time I cannot see how a loving and righteous God could allow any persisting prideful people into heaven without letting it deteriorate and become earth-like, for all eternity.
“Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” — 1 Peter 5:5b
“He who rules his spirit is better than he who captures a city.” — Proverbs 16:32b
I was brought up as a Christian, and was open to it in a way, but I only began to see the real truth and beauty of God after I started to study the Bible myself (e.g. by concentrated reading, trying to grasp every verse). I was so excited by the things that I read, that it turned me into a child of God by simply accepting Jesus as my Savior, my friend, my God, and my goal in life. It was much more beautiful—and more straightforward and simpler—than I could have imagined. I was around 30 years old at the time, and desperately wanted to know what God wanted from me. So, if you are going to read e.g. the Book of John with that attitude, I can almost guarantee you that you will not be the same afterward.
Note: The above link will open up a new page showing the first chapter of the Book of John, with on the left a strict word-for-word translation (the New American Standard Bible), and at the right a modern translation (the New Living Translation) which is more readable but less accurate. If you have finished reading the first chapter, you can go to the next by clicking on the “>” sign on the right side of the page.

Note: A video always adds extra elements to the biblical story (attitudes, looks, settings, …) which might influence you the wrong way, and for that reason it would be best to read the Gospels in the Bible itself. It’s just that a video is easier to take in, so it could be a first step in getting familiar with the Bible.

Puerto Rican whose mother was a witch, and whose father was a Satan worshiper. Was not wanted by his parents, and therefore they sent him to the U.S. to live with his older brother, where soon after he ended up in a violent gang in Brooklyn, New York. Finally, gave his heart to Jesus Christ through a Spirit-filled, warmhearted, and courageous preacher from the countryside, who had decided to seek the Lord in the evenings instead of watching TV as he used to do. In the end, also Nicky’s dying mother (described by him as a ‘pack of bones’) gave her heart to Christ (and then lived for 25 more years!), and then his father, as well as 13 or 14 of his 17 siblings.
Note: Nicky’s story is told as part of the book and an associated movie called The Cross And The Switchblade, and in more detail in Nicky’s 1968 autobiography called Run Baby Run.

God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.
Romans 10:9-10
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
God created sex for us to enjoy, and for creating offspring. But, like e.g. food, sex isn’t supposed to control our life, but be integrated in our life with godly love as the bearing backbone.

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
