Who created God?

You often hear people say, “If you believe that God created the universe, then who created God?” As if to say that the universe probably wasn’t created by some higher being, or created at all for that matter. As if the universe (or cosmos) could have created itself—in millions or billions of years or so.

The articles and videos on this page uncover the unsound reasoning that hides behind this type of questioning.

Note: This is a roughly 10 minute selection from a 1.5 hour video, starting at 41:15.
» Richard Dawkins tries to debate John Lennox, gets OWNED…

(This is only 7:30. The full 1.45 hour debate is here.)
I must say that I do not particularly like remarks like the one that is used here in the title (‘gets OWNED’), because it turns an honest discussion and search for truth into a competition (which it should not be), but apart from that it’s a good thing to demonstrate that the arguments that some high-profile atheists give are simply beyond any sense, and John Lennox in this video does that with solid arguments.

» Where Did God Come From?
*) Note that Josh McDowell was once a diehard skeptic himself, so to him dubbing someone a skeptic is far from name-calling, but simply a term that denotes a human being’s state as to how he thinks about the existence of God.
